Stan resides in Hart County where he manages a chicken and cattle farm with his wife, Joyce. As an active member in his church, he teaches a men's Sunday School class. He is also a Station Commander/Firefighter with the Hartwell Fire Department.
He is a self-taught artist, falling in the love with painting at the age of 14. Life of the farm greatly influences his choice of subject matter. Each painting is rich with memories as he recalls them through each stroke of his brush.
